Don't trust official numbers when talking about immigrants.
Turkish people are generally hospitable. They have traditions of helping foreigners, offering them the best room in the house, etc. However, because this is socially ingrained โ meaning that acting otherwise would be frowned upon โ it's sometimes done reluctantly. In short, you might look at appearances and think, "What nice people they are!" But ingrained attitudes can mislead you. TELL THEM NOT TO TRUST EVERYONE... ๐
