I brought it to my family, some said "it's a website where the fbi finds hackers" and some said that they just weren't into the idea of it. Still trying to convince them lol!!


Does anyone else notice anything weird happening with American Corporations?

I keep finding stories about companies reducing their work force by cutting nonessential personnel. Not only that but companies are cutting back on work events and nonessential expenses. 

I mean this all adds up, companies are preparing for a recession. Big corporations have ceased all external hiring. This allows normal attrition rate to weather down their work force without having to give a severance. I'm sure more is going on.

What else is going on that y'all have noticed?

Anyone see that Germany is firing up old coal plants??

Curious on what SN plebs think about this.

Maybe Germany should have focused on innovating and securing their own energy infrastructure instead of focusing on lowering their footprint while using another counties power.. Sad to see..

This may have already been talked about but it would be sick to have a mobile app!! 

Also, this may be a myspace vibe but it would be cool to be able to do more with our personal profiles. Not exactly sure if that would fit here on SN because it's not a facebook or twitter. Anyways, SN is still epic and continues to be more awesome every time I log on. #DOPE

How is this recession going to play out?

I'm still trying to find a local rancher in Houston lol!!

With rates raising, CPI percentage increasing MoM, and real inflation making its toll on everyday necessities; how will all this play out? 

I continuously see predictions for food, energy, and housing shortages. What are the best ways to prepare for this instead of over reacting? 

I'm sure I'm not the only person here who is thinking about this. How are corporations and households preparing for the Feds raising rates and predictions of higher inflation in the future?

I feel like the global adoption of bitcoin in recent years will make it hard to fail.

With that, maybe an asteroid hitting the earth at astronomical speeds could cause bitcoin to fail. But if there are any survivors, would they create a system that resembles bitcoin (proof of work)?

Interesting question though. I'm looking forward to what plebs on here respond.

What will actually change with Elon acquiring Twitter?

It seems that very few colleges are beginning to develop classes on this topic. I think the University of Wyoming has a bitcoin mining class, which is cool. Maybe other colleges have lectures on blockchain but is it focused on bitcoin?

I feel like it would be the smart thing to do. If the future is bound to be a technological one, wouldn't colleges want to be at the forefront of education on this topic? 

Or simply, are we still early???

I'm lucky to be able to work whenever I want, but curious about what y'all do for work?

I feel like I do my best work at night and can get so much done. I seem to be able to focus a bit better and am driven to get shit done!!

I'm currently in college for business finance and work for a technology company on the backend of our website. Nothing to write home about but I get by. I think it's interesting to be in college for finance and at the same time be really into bitcoin... Hearing others' perspectives and learning myself; let's just say, it's been interesting and fun. 

Sometimes feel like I'm wasting my time with college but in this fiat world, it seems like a way to get your foot in the door. Just a late-night rant, what's on y'alls mind?
