I was formerly a machine learning engineer. I think this is a big bubble. These are glorified autocorrection models that cost lots of money to run. LLMs are a massive leap for programmer productivity, but they are only an augmentation and a tool for the best builders. It still takes someone with skill and creativity to build a great product. As for other use cases, if you can be replaced by a New York Times emulating essay machine, perhaps you should expand your set of skills. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHHT6W-N0ak

that sub is full of shitcoining anyway. on MuSig2 and Rust, have you contributed to BDK? Iām using it in my project and rely on smart folk like you.
Iāve heard Monero get referenced
countless times for privacy but Iām struggling to understand how it can do better than Bitcoin and Tor. What is the sauce?
An outcome Iāve thought about is that some, even a majority, may never stop using the ādollar.ā Only the fractional reserve policies and balance sheets of the banks they use may change. Not the outcome that I want, but for many people there may appear to be no transition at all. I talk to my dad about this sometimes and it seems like an intermediate state thatās definitely plausible
