I know I, Robot and it is definitely in my reading list. I'm looking for a good translation. If I can't, I'll read it in English. Thanks for the advice!
Just like in Matrix. Maybe we are already living in the tubes and the thing we know as "reality" is not real. The idea of AI is perfect but if something is too "perfect", it probably not.
Absolutely! That's exactly what's wrong with Asimov's universe. AI is developing much faster because it reaches more users at less cost and generates much larger revenues. While robots are specific to the people who will use them in the field they are built for, AI can be accessible from all over the world through a domain, a hosting and a data center. A great perspective!
Of course, even if we include non-humanoids, AI has made much greater progress in a much more limited time. I'm sure if we take into account the speed of development between robotics and AI, we can think that AI development is at a much different level.
I don't like shit shill posts in this space. Maybe I'm not good writer but I like to read this place a lot. I'm using pocket to save some of the posts also. When I see some shit shilling posts at there I'm downzapping it. No shit Sherlock! 🕵🏻
What if Satoshi Nakamoto is from future? He came from future because of the time travelling. Some people ruined past with time travelling and Satoshi wanted to fix timeline with a time resistant technology. He created BTC Blockchain and fixed the supply to 21 million. Maybe this is indicating the time that humanity discovered time travelling? When we mine last Bitcoin piece on Blockchain? Maybe that day is the beginning of the time and space distortion.
Thanks for the quick reply. I just wanted to report the issue asap. Thanks for the great site and effort. 🫡
@sn right after that culture transferred to me again. I thought that was about something related with AI territory but I guess that is something global.
I didn't expect to come across such a good article. Many immigrants try to go to America for better living conditions. But as this article points out, people in the US are also looking for places where they have more purchasing power. I guess this is what it means to be human, we think that if we change our situation everything will be better. When in reality it is ourselves that need to change. Thanks OP!
I just started "A Wild Sheep Chase" from Haruki Murakami today and finished just now. I love his language. When you start it, you won't feel how the time passes. For me, he is just in between Chekov and Maupassant. He tells his story but leaves the ending to the reader. Me and my wife are discussing his books for days after we finish them. I highly suggest it for this weekend.
I have a cheap solution. I have Kali Linux installed on my 8GB USB drive. When I get something like that, I'm disconnecting my SSD from my hardware, plugging my Kali USB, booting the Kali from USB and after that I'm using "strange" USB. I also have another layer of security on top of that. After I finish my job, I'm booting from my security HDD to scan things and see everything is well. After that, I'm booting from my main SSD. I got a switch for these type of things.
I'm trying to move all my accounts to another mailing service. So exhausting. They promoted themselves a lot then dumped userbase without caring them. I wish we can develop nostr mail client or something like that with self hosting support. 🥹🥲
Basically, they are outperforming with inflationary $ system. 1$ is not the same 1$ 10 or 20 years ago. Stocks are keeping their value better than $. Yes, some of them are steadily growing but some of them just grows with the same rate as inflation. This creates a "magical" outperforming illusion. $ is not like Bitcoin. If we compare Bitcoin with stocks, we can see real growth.
