Now, I don't have an interest in purchasing NFTs on Bitcoin but for this permissionless build I've found it fascinating. I first heard the creator talking about indexing sats on a podcast, and thought nothing much of it, kind of neat someone took the time to theorize order of issuance for sats and how you can make a little game of it. Then all hell broke loose with fees and now mempools will never clear again. (The halving block fees = potential mayhem).
For something so trivial to have such a huge impact, I feel a territory is needed for discussion and for it to be a way in which we can keep updated in the space, and I think there is the potential for some technological development to arise from all this, as it brings more eyes to Bitcoin. After all, the cat is out the bag, and nobody can put it back in.
I would take a look at Casey's blog @rodarmor about how a maxi could go about the whole thing.
