NFC North might be the best division in football this season. I think the Bears will be much improved but probably find a way to screw it up. Pack is good. Lions are good. If Vikings can manage to hold it together it could be quite a season.
i think the bears will probably find a way to screw it up and likely ruin caleb williams career the way they did justin fields. the pack... are following the same trajectory as the lions, young and show potential, lets see if they can take another step forward. the lions i kinda expect to take a step back, there were a lot of games where mistakes were covered up by luck, a bit like the vikings 2022 season honestly. and the vikings will do the same thing we always do... show promise, get hype, go to the wild card, win in some crazy fashion and then get blown out in the divisional. it is just the cycle of a vikings fan. hype -> belief -> disappointment -> back to hype.

I hope Vikings are drafting a QB

So do I. If we can't get up into the top 3. I'm not wholely sold on McCarthy being worth the price it would take to get to 4.
I'd rather in that case stick and pick at 11. Take Byron Murphy 2 or jerzhan newton. And then at 23 take penix or nix.

I think that makes sense. I like McCarthy, I think he is going to be a good NFL QB but I wouldn't trade up to get him. If he is there at 11 you take him and if not address another area of need and take a QB with your second pick.

if to get to 4 as an example to take him costs 11 & 23... i'd grumble but ultimately if hes the guy our scouting department HC and Gm are all betting their jobs and livlihoods on, then i'll back it. but if its 11, 23 &a future 1st.. i think thats steep, and we should stick and pick at 11, address DT or CB and get one of the other QBs at 23.
but like i said, i'm not a scout so if our GM, HC & entire scouting dept are willing to put their jobs on the line to back the guy. then im not qualified to tell them theyre wrong.
