Pokémon Go players figured out they could throw fake info into OpenStreetMap to help their games. I'm both impressed at the effort, and annoyed because I like OSM data to be accurate (though it seems to be getting caught quickly).

From launch day people are finding new ways to cheat at pokemon go.
I worked with a guy that would put his cellphone on the metal frame of our coffee break room to mess with his gps coordinates. Sometimes his avatar would encounter pokemon in the middle of the building next door.
Another coworker would drive very slow near her home to catch pokemon along the way.

People that play pokemon go can be crazy. Lol
They grind all day just to get a shiny pokemon.
