I was just playing with the Coinos fund function to see how it works, put in 52 sats. If you want to see how it works, come leave some sats or take them. Anyone with the link can take or add sats unless I modify the username list. Anyone you send the link to can do the same.
Fun. I took the 52 sats and put 53 back.

sending you 1 sat + interest. thanks for trying this - I like trying out tools and other transaction functions but usually don't have an excuse to
reply
No problem. Seemed like a fun idea.
reply
Did you just add yourself as a fund manager?
reply
Not intentionally.
reply
That's pretty funny. I don't think I can manage the list despite creating the fund. I guess I missed my window.
Time to see whether this ends up at 0, around 52, or much higher
reply
it's like gambling ... faith in humanity
reply
What's the plan for spending this cash?
reply
We could turn this fund into an experiment, kinda like that post (#661571). But instead of the last person to comment winning, it's the last one to drop in 21 sats. If no one deposits 21 sats within 24 hours, then whoever was the last to deposit takes the whole pot.
reply
That’s fun, I dig it. Tough part could be administration of the fund and manager controls, because as people discussed on here, that seems to be all over the place
reply
My guess is if you start a fresh fund and immediately become the manager, no one else can touch it unless you're the one adding new managers. If you wanna do that, just throw up a post to let everyone know. For me, go ahead and move all the sats from this fund to the new one.
reply
Welcome! Hahaha Is it really you guys? @south_korea_ln @gnilma
reply
Maybe? I do like big round numbers... Haha
reply
So you’re like south_korea_ln, he went and juiced up the fund with a fat round number! Ahaha!

He's a baller. I'm just a small cheap dude that added a few sats to make it into 1k.
reply
😂🤣🤪😁
reply
Is it?~~
reply
It's?
reply
It's (and I don't have withdraw access, so what am I even doing?)~~
reply
Someone made me a manager yesterday, so now I can add people too. Just added you!
reply
Tell me, guys, how much money will the fund get before someone rugpulls?)
reply
done
reply
Never paid attention to this, but looks like coinos doxing your local currency:))
reply
No it’s not, my local currency is sats 😎
reply
So it looks like there is no „admin manager“? Each of the managers can delete other managers? Seems like an oversight
reply
Sounds right - I have not touched that function despite creating the fund and was fortunate enough to be installed.
reply
They need to do something like a fund chat:)
reply
So now withdrawal is limited to 3 users?
reply
Boo need a nostr key to have fun
reply
Interesting function!

I'm looking for how to start a fund myself, is it in the UI somewhere?
I go to https://coinos.io/fund, and click "pay fund", and get an error: Error Something went wrong Invalid currency symbol
reply
That looks like someone named Fund - if you go to click “send”, there’s a “create a fund” button underneath
reply
Ah, okay. I created a fund, here it is - https://coinos.io/fund/dc5fbc7f-047c-4171-acc4-d860382f47f1. Feel free to add or withdraw.
I wonder what the use case for this is? I thought it would be a shared wallet, with trusted people. But I'm not seeing how you limit to just trusted people...
reply
I doubled it, pass it on
reply
So basically this is a kind of shared wallet? and someone emptied it. humanity at it's finest.
reply
This person emptied it twice. Fun how clear that’s the case lol
reply
cool 🤠 IRS ?
reply
left 10 sats for fun
reply
Is this a new feature? It's like a wallet-on-demand. Pretty dope.
reply
coincidentally ... was wondering what that fund function was, thanks with the latest issues coinos had, I am a bit stressed to use their wallet
