It's hard to think scarcity is real when rents keep climbing, but whole buildings stay empty, people sleep on streets. Grocery stores toss tonnes of good food everyday, and yet so many still go to bed hungry.

I don’t think it’s real. The earth is so big we haven’t even scratched the surface on the amount of resources we can gather and find.
Like I read all 6 billion of us humans can all live in the state of Texas we are just lead to believe we have scarcity because humans are very inefficient in allocating and managing resources

Conceptually, I've always thought real estate investing would be cool, but the value seems to be locked up in zoning laws and the incentives of homeowners pushing back against new development. Like if you could freely convert big single family homes into duplexes or triplexes in a nice area, prices would crater for existing homeowners
