The Dalai Lama said on Saturday he hopes to live until he is more than 130 years old, two decades longer than his previous prediction, following his assurance to followers that he would reincarnate as the spiritual head of the faith upon his death. Source 🔗
He's only 89 now.. Just curious to know how do Stackers take this ~oracle from one of the most prominent spiritual leaders of our times?

This seems unlikely. But who knows. Lets wait and see. I went to India last year and was happy to be able to see him right before he went to the US for a surgery. I recommend anyone going to Dharamshala and seeing where the Tibetans are living. Lovely area.

But China’s ruling Communist Party insists it alone holds the authority to approve the next Dalai Lama – as well as all reincarnations of “Living Buddhas,” or high-ranking lamas in Tibetan Buddhism.
