“It was needed because we saw that a lot of the children are actually online most of the time – 99 per cent of the kids in Denmark are using social media or gaming platforms on a daily basis. So we have to be present there as well,” Sisse Birkebeck, the superintendent of the police team, told Euronews Next.

Don't know how effective they are, but how much of a sweet gig would this be if you were a cop. Get paid a ton of Danish fiat to play games and bust a peado or two !

Really? Nearly 2 years and 12 people and they have only opened 260 cases. How many people told them they grow weed at home? And how much of the information they got is real? People talk a lot of shit in online gaming, do they take it serious? I would say this is a total waste of money. But i would take the Job

Definitely an interesting idea, and great if you are selected for it as a cop! maybe if it's successful, other countries will roll out something similar
