Since 2020, it seems the world has been in a very tense situation perhaps because of COVID, I started to focus on the news more? There’s Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Israel-Palestine conflict, tensions between Israel and Iran, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Pakistan and India, and NATO's aid to Ukraine, along with the USA's support for Israel, which makes it seem like a USA vs. Iran scenario. Additionally, there's the looming possibility of China invading Taiwan in the coming years.

Sometimes, it feels like war is about to happen very soon, but somehow the situation remains under control. I wonder what will happen to all the weapons being produced by countries, especially advanced weapons of mass destruction. Suppose, maybe 70 years from now, conflicts are resolved, and war never happens, leading to a developed, livable, and harmonious world. What will happen to those weapons? Does that mean war is not inevitable? Will countries with advanced weapons always try to assert their dominance over those without? Will powerful nations like the USA, China, and Russia invade less powerful countries in the future?

If someone suggests that governments will sign agreements to destroy their weapons, why would they do so? They invest so much time, money, and effort at the expense of their citizens' happiness why would they just give that up?

TL;DR : As long as there are weapons, war seems inevitable, and why would powerful countries like the USA ever destroy their weapons? The future of Earth may not be bright.
