Milestones from their about page:
  1. Using Graph Neural Networks to achieve a major breakthrough in predicting the smell of a molecule from its structure.
  2. Creating new molecules no one had ever smelled before and predicting them with superhuman accuracy.
  3. Designing molecules that smell bad to mosquitoes (e.g. insect repellents) and are more potent than DEET in human trials.
It's interesting that they chose mosquito repellents as the most practical-profitable application. I can see this tech going in a lot of cool directions as someone curious about making perfumes. I also feel like smell is the least respected sense so there's probably a lot more to be discovered wrt applications.
It's an interesting project. What percentage of progress is there, and in what areas do you plan to apply this other than health, if it ever gets done?

There's a youtube video from 3 months ago that's probably pretty up to date on their progress and what they're doing.

Thank you, I will watch it with great interest.
