Nothing is quite like baseball when it comes to fan interactions. This girl (Iris Skinner) was about to explode after Ichiro just touched her! What makes it all the better is that in 2022 when they had Ichiro Weekend they surprised Iris with throwing out the first pitch to Ichiro!

Man if social media was around when Ichiro broke in than I would say yes. Ichiro just shook up baseball and was the first Japanese player in any major sports league to come in and be a superstar. NBA wasn't nearly as world wide as they are now and hockey while it was just wasn't and still isn't as big as the others
