So, a few people asked me casually about Bitcoin, just because they heard the name and curious. Then, I also so some guy on YouTube saying he delivers Bitcoin lessons and charges students.
So, I was wondering, do you think this is something people would pay for? I am no OG, but consider myself a proficient Bitcoin user, with cold wallets, seed phrase, to Mobile wallet, lightning payment, liquid/on-chain swap via Boltz etc.
So, if I was to organise a paid tutorial in my locality, what do you think would be most helpful for people to learn, to get started with real Bitcoin (not Blackrock ETF or Strategy stock)?
I wouldn't do a paid session. You could do it for a free 1 hour session and then if people want a deeper dive or one on one instruction charge them.

Lunaticoin (find him here on X) has been pretty successful with paid in person classes in Spanish. Maybe have a look at his website and feed and see what he's doing.
It's a hard slog to start from zero.

I have a full time job and not planning on leaving it. I intend to deliver a few lessons in my community partly as a way to orange pill, and a few extra bucks (or sats, if someone pays in Bitcoin) cannot hurt.

Depends how you want to do it. There is a lot to learn. If it were all in one session I'd probably do some fundamentals like nodes/mempool, LN stuff then onchain security. However if it were like a longer course you could go into many more details.

In Portugal, no one would pay for that, now if they were getting paid, loads of people would show up! Ahaha

I learnt it all for free, by watching YouTube and reading books. But, I think people who don't have my patience, or self learning motivation, might benefit, of course provided they wish to learn.
