This used to be one of my biggest issues when I used Fold. To take bitcoin off you needed to withdraw all of it at once. Which made no sense to me. What if I only needed 50k sats to top up my ln wallet? Well the devs finally gave us more withdrawal control for when we stack sats with fold.
Long time coming.

What benefits could anyone get for having their sats there?
If you have freedom to move the amounts you want, it seems to me that it is not a very good option.

Like Blok indicated, you may want to move a smaller amount one place, which doesn’t stop you from moving the rest somewhere else.
However, the benefit of keeping some on Fold is that you can use it to pay fiat bills.

Inevitably we still live in the fiduciary model, so I understand perfectly because it is useful for you.
It happens to me the same with binance for example.

Yeah I have a fold hack I use to earn sats back on my ACH bills I have to pay.
Plus I rather hold idle sats then dollars but when I need dollars I can instantly sell then use my fold card to make a purchase

Yeah for those who practice get on zero meaning get on zero fiat. Which I tried but didn’t like so much so now I some fiat as I need it to pay debt and bills

Looks like no minimums but they do have a disclaimer at the bottom and warn against withdrawals under 500k sats

i love this app even though it still have some restrictions on my region hope that it ay be allowed sooner since it give a really great rewards amounts and good deals for stackers

One can hope. They were all in on lightning then they pivoted to all in on Visa card and other trad fi services
