I do totally see where the Padres is coming from just given the sheer firepower they have added to their roster and the ability to take down the Dodgers. The Mariners though I am not so sure of even winning the division. They are tied with Texas and both 5 games back of the Astros who are about to start getting players back from injury plus we finally plugged two glaring holes with 3rd and a left handed bat. Thats not to say that the odds were not worth putting a couple bucks on but I am not so sure about it.

The Astros do not play either the Rangers or Mariners until September where we play both of them at home the second to last week of the season. Texas has one of the hardest remaining strength of schedules so if they are able to beat up on the Marines the next couple of days itll hurt the Marines but be huge for Texas
