There are tons of options for dedicated node hardware- try old mini PCs and upgrade the storage to 2tb

I have built with those mini HP PCs before, they have a good design imo. 

Then you can download StartOS from start9 for free. Send some donation sats to them later. 

Just run it on your laptop. No need for dedicated hardware 

I’m trying to get a Start9 but they’re a bit pricey and at the moment they’re sold out. But when I save up the money and they’re back in stock, I’ll be running knots.
