I'm heading to Texas for the first time with another Bitcoiner friend towards the end of December. I want to visit Bitcoin Park in Austin as well as the Riot mining farm in Rockdale. And we will meet up with a pleb or two to have some good BBQ. Other than that, we don't have any set plans so we're looking for recommendations!! Thanks!

I'm based in Austin! It's pretty fun here. Sometimes it's cold in December, but if it's nice check out tacos at De Nada or Meanwhile Brewing. BBQ is pretty good all over the place.
Bitcoin-wise: Pleblab is in the same building as Bitcoin Park and usually there are very cool bitcoiners hanging around there.

Austin has multiple speakeasy bars, I went to a few while in town. I would recommend checking one out, they often require reservations. Kayaking the river to see the bat bridge was memorable!
