Hey Guys,
I've been building a health and fitness app for about a year.
In short, the app has an activity tracker for Cardio/Stength/Diet/Meditation. The project started off with me trying to create a nostr based run tracker which would allow users to spin up a new fitness npub record runs and publish workouts to nostr. I've since opened up support for other activities, have added simple fitness teams and running events which i'll fully flesh out once I tackle a bit more on the health and fitness side.
Today I wanted to talk about our stats screen.
We don't use servers or databases for user accounts, all workouts stay local unless broadcasted to social media. When users first enter the stats screen from the workouts page they see BMI/Vo2Max/Fitness age, and Weekly Summaries.
When they scroll down they see Goals/Habits, the RUNSTR Fitness test
Goals and Habits are pretty self explanatory, the RUNSTR Fitness test has a 60 minute time limit, focuses on a 5k run/2 minute pushup exercise/2 minute sit up exercise. Based on your results you get a score and see the fitness test results in your workout history.
They keep scrolling and see Coach RUNSTR and Nostr Health Sync.
The idea behind Coach RUNSTR, is to have an AI powered health and fitness assistant. Two layers of anonymity and relatively private payments over nostr for queries along with the thing having access to non incriminating information is the route i've taken.
I direct users in the app to PPQ.AI where they can anonymously get a api key and pay in bitcoin for LLM queries. Users have the option to choose from 9 different models, or Auto Model which finds the most cost efficient for the query.
I really want to add a section maybe in between health metrics and weekly summary which shows Personal Records for Cardio/Strength/Diet/Wellness.
Let me know what you think. Thanks, Hustle
