Verstappen wins the Las Vegas Grand Prix, to keep his slim Championship chances alive heading into the final two races of the season.
The Dutchman took the lead at the start and never looked troubled from there. Norris holds onto second, but not by much! And Russell completes the podium.
Still I won't give him a chance to win the championship because Norris is about 50 points ahead of him. However with this race the chances for a Piastri winning the year has dwindled as he's finished fourth.

I just learned there are two more races. The only chance Verstappen has is to win both and hope Norris finishes out of the top 7 in both. Piastri needs to win both and have Norris finish out of the top 4 in both.

There's also 1 sprint race for points in Qatar next week. Verstappen is really good at them, but the gap is too big. I don't think Norris is gonna finish out of top 4 in all of them for even Piastri to surpass him. The only chance that anyone has remains in hoping that Norris crashes out in one of the three races and don't finish a podium in rest of the two.

How many points for sprint races?
reply
Not many. 1st 8, 2nd 7, and so on to the top 8 finishers

It would be big for Piastri if he won the sprint and Norris didn't get points.

Yupp. And what if Norris crashes out of either of remaining races, and Piastri wins it. Things will be super interesting in Abu Dhabi on 7th next month.

Hopefully we at least get an exciting final race.

I'm sure it'll be. Norris might actually make it so with his over excitement. So, I'm looking forward to Verstappen winning again in Qatar and Norris crashing out, haha.
