@unbank2024 question for you, I was watching some of tutorial videos on how to setup unbank app and see SMS is involved in the process.
Questions: Is SMS needed after setup of the account?
Is SMS used on each buy transaction?

Hey! SMS is is only needed for account verification and you do not need it when making a buy transaction. It would only be needed again if you were to want to change the number registered on your account.

Is it onchain payout only or does unbank support lighting?

At the moment, we support lightning for all of our zero fee cash out methods but only on chain for buy transactions. Lightning buys will be functional again very soon.
