Psalm 118:1-9 ESV [1] Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! [2] Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” [3] Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” [4] Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” [5] Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. [6] The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? [7] The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me. [8] It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. [9] It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.

The Lord also said to arm yourself against the hardness of men's hearts. Men can do a lot of dumbass things to each other. Don't be a blind, willing target.

The titles of my Bible reading posts are literal passages of the texts I'll be reading that day.

I usually choose verses of the Psalm I read. In this case, the title is the verse six of Psalms 118.

Why would you imply I'm a "blind, willing target" just by reading the title of my post?

reply

Your title implied it, not me. Own your post if you put it out there.

reply

I do own my post and I do stand for the title

I have no idea what you are arguing for 😄
