The new service, Truth Predict, will allow Truth Social users to place crypto bets on the outcome of particular events, from sports contests to political races to shifts in the economy. Truth Social is operated by Trump Media & Technology Group, a publicly traded company.
Truth Predict, which is being launched in partnership with an affiliate of the crypto exchange Crypto.com, is entering a field currently dominated by Polymarket and Kalshi, both of which recently raised funds at lofty multibillion-dollar valuations.
In January, Donald Trump Jr. joined Kalshi as a strategic adviser. Then, in August, Polymarket received an investment from 1789 Capital, a venture capital firm where Trump Jr. serves as a partner. As part of the deal, Trump Jr. joined Polymarket’s advisory board.
“Neither the president nor his family have ever engaged, or will ever engage, in conflicts of interest,” says White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, in a statement to WIRED.

I wonder... do people ever get tired of being shocked and offended by Trump? Seems like most of his haters live off the emotions he evokes.
When I observe Trump these days and try to think about being in opposition I think, how did we get here and what needs to change? I don't think those that love to hate him think like this.
In other words. They focus on the man. They focus on now. They don't see the problems that led to his rise to power. He's a result. Not a cause. Most politicians are. Almost all of them IMO.
Thats not a comforting thought though.

That's what I tell my dad who is a world class trump hater. I tell him that people like him got trump elected. He doesn't like to hear that, obviously. But he's also not willing to move on from the criticism of the man to a discussion of the issues

I was trying to see if they've started an AI company, but I didn't find one.
They did a treasury company, though.
