alright, the new year is here. and it's finally time to stop messing around.
if you're tired of telling yourself to do something, tell yourself you already did it.
you succeeded.
you finished.
you are done with it and can see the finish line all the way from the start.
what are three things you want to purely focus on from now, until the 1st of april?
for me and the sake of transparency, it's:
- minimum 1k words a day
- 15 minute morning and evening walk.
- gratitude journal morning and night.
- gym minimum 3x a week.
there's something special about telling yourself you did it, versus you have to. the mindset is now changed, and your success is in the past. there's more meaning in hearing your fulfillments than as obligations.
now, what are you doing in this present to get there?
1000 words a day is a good goal.
Happy new year! 🎆
Is there a difference in focus between the morning gratitude journal and the evening one?
I hope to reduce the photos in my phone to 2000 as part of my digital declutter efforts.
morning is a time of goal setting and gratitude, evening is a time of reflection of the day and what to improve!
great one for digital clutter too. for me its less apps and scrolling with screen time to a max of 180 mins a day.
