Don't read code because you have to, but because it's fun.

See it like reading novels.

Before you go to bed, pick your favorite repo and read a few lines.

It feels a bit unnatural at first, but it's really worth it.

One day, you might hit an issue in your own code and think, "Oh, I've seen this before." Then you remember how to solve it. You can use that pattern you saw in that repo a few weeks or months ago.

Over time, you build up a collection of patterns in your head.

GitHub becomes your library.

Interesting. Maybe I should start with Bitcoin Core

I met Randy a few year ago who did it. He has a branch on a fork of core repository with comments in every file. I never did that way but I found this really interesting.
