Been using AutoCAD my whole professional career. It is the lifeblood of A/E/C industry. Shocked the market cap isn’t higher.

At 300k sats per share ($91,732), and no dividend. A butt load of sats for a stock that doesn’t pay a dividend and probably won’t grow faster than bitcoin.

The company trades at a PE 52 which means investors are paying $52 to access $1 of earnings. Paying a major premium to invest in this company at this price level.

This is a solid software business. The growth is a bit underwhelming and it doesn’t pay a dividend. The balance sheet is full of debt but they have really good cash reserves thus the balance sheet is decent.

Value investors will flock from this stock. Over the last 5 years shareholders have lost 10% of their investment

Autodesk makes great software and they are looking to leverage AI to enhance their product suite but I have a hard time seeing a path to strong growth that will beat Bitcoin. No way am I paying 300k sats of the hardest money ever for a share of drawing software!! In 10 to 20 years that 300k should have much more purchasing power than Autodesk stock.

It pains me to do this but I must remove this stock from my watchlist
