Let's see how this all shakes out after the lockout. I expect the salary/payroll landscape and rules will look different. Dodgers are doing it now because they know current contracts won't apply to whatever new rules there are.
I am amazed that the League Office didn’t try and step in and say no to this contract. It’s been a growing thing that owners hate the Dodgers for this so for Manfried to allow it to continue when we are about to go into negotiations is a wild move in my eyes
