Will Trumps Autocratic Tendencies be limited by the US Supreme Court?

If SCOTUS had prioritized accountability over escape hatches, Trump wouldn’t be operating with this much legal cover.
Trump v. Anderson + Trump v. United States didn’t “stop” him. They reduced the tools to stop him.
My further thoughts here:
SCOTUS tariff ruling could drop Jan. 20. Who owns the wind? #1413542

The SCOTUS appears to have delayed their decision.
IMO this is a HUGE moment for both the USA, markets and ultimately, history.

SCOTUS was never supposed to deliver their decision today? They never announced today as an "Opinion Day." Today was scheduled and still is Trump v Cook. Opinion Days tend to be on Fridays as the announce them and then dip out of the city when people protest.

SCOTUS will swallow a lot of cruelty under the banner of “border control.”
But they won’t swallow economic chaos. Tariffs don’t just punish “others”. They boomerang into prices, markets, and elite interests.
That’s why I think they’re more likely to rule against him on tariffs than on immigration.

I feel the description is a little vague:

SCOTUS rules Trumps trade tariffs unlawful results in a Yes outcome.
If SCOTUS does not rule Trumps tariffs unlawful results in a No outcome.

Is it if SCOTUS rules any part unlawful it results in a Yes outcome?

What if it was unlawful to do it this way but we will let you enforce it another way.

Example: Affordable Care Act:

You make a good point but if the ruling effectively means the tariffs were not lawful and that Trump cannot continue to issue such tariffs in the unilateral way he has then it resolves to Yes.
