I originally posted this review on Reddit last night. Thought I'd share here for those interested:

So, a bit of context, I went and saw the movie tonight because my daughter was looking forward to it and we got tickets for her something like a month ago when we found out it was going to be showing in town. I honestly have no idea who Markiplier is or what he does aside from being a streamer. Personally, I'm not into streamers. 99.9% of it just doesn't appeal to me one bit. So, I went for my daughter and to give the film a chance without any prior bias really except, I'm not a fan of streamers.

The above said, the movie takes on the the Blair Witch Project approach to filming and, in my opinion, does a really good job to tell a story. The first hour is slow, maybe a bit too slow because I almost nodded off, but the second half made up for it. I have to give Markiplier a lot of credit for pulling off an entire movie's worth of script, something most A-listers wouldn't even try. In addition, it's all done in the limited space of contained oversized beer can of a submarine ship. Without giving away the plot, Markiplier did a convincing job as an actor, and I did get into the story. The buckets of blood probably got the gore vote the most, but, honestly, the mechanics of the ship and film environment was quite a bit of work.

There was a tremendous amount of time spent on film camera angles, shots, lighting, coloring and grittiness in the film as well. I'm the kind of guy who thinks the zenith of sci-fi adult story-telling was in the original Blade Runner movie. While there's no comparison here, Iron Lung is definitely worth taking the time to watch, and I give kudos to Markiplier for pulling it off. I was expecting a B-rate disappointment, the kind you see shuffling through the crap on a bad night looking for something to watch on Amazon Prime. Instead, I really enjoyed a good night at the movies with my daughter. Thank you.

Fair enough - I use coinos wallet and it is not too difficult for me and Im no tech wizard though it did take an hour or two to get it working.

Looking forward to seeing you slinging a gun and I hope to be first to zap some sats your way then.
