Leave your answers to his two questions in the comments:
- Which professional sport could you last in the longest without being exposed?
- Which professional sport would expose you the fastest?
Hey @k00b at some point will forwards be able to be received in sats or again or will they stay CCs?
Yes.
Great. Personally I don't mind getting the CCs as I will use them but I feel less inclined to do forwards when I know they are getting CCs instead of sats. I would rather just zap them what the forward would have amounted to.
Maybe you could pass at goalie for a while
If you had a reasonable amount of skating ability you could probably pass as a goalie until you were required to make any sort of challenging save. If they shoot the puck right at you you should be ok for a bit.
That's what I'm thinking. Pure surface area and reasonable luck might get you through for a while.
Especially if you are playing with a good defensive team. They can help a lot keeping guys on bad angles and out from the front of the net. I think the Canadian Women's team only gave up 2 shots in the first period against Switzerland yesterday. If you are part of a lopsided matchup like that you could hide pretty well.
Sounds like I should sign up for the NHL as a goalie
Goalie is fun. I used to play goalie a lot when I played with my buddies on the outdoor rink as a youth. They all played organized hockey and I never did but I had pretty good reflexes from playing SS and a good ability to block from playing C in baseball so I was a pretty decent.
NHL I am not so sure about. Those guys can shoot the puck over 100mph. You have a lot of padding and all but I almost rather it went in the net.
That’s possible. Maybe I can just lay down the whole time
I grew up snowboarding, so depending how transferable those skills are I might be able to pass.
Last longest in probably chess. At least I could just try to play defensively and stall for an hour or two
Exposed fastest, probably anything that would require me to serve a ball
Chess is a good one.
Yeah we determined tennis and golf would go sideways pretty quick.
If we got like a week to prepare, I might be able to take a similar defensive tactic in tennis and pass as someone who's having an off-day for a bit.
You must be pretty good at tennis. I might be able to serve a ball over the net, but there's no way in hell I'm returning a serve by a pro
Not tennis specifically, but I am really good at racquetball.
Compared to most other sports, I think there's a possibility that I could lose a tennis match without it being completely obvious that I didn't belong on the court at all.
Looking forward to listening
It was a lot of fun.
