The road to Budapest commences tonight. This is a previous round before the last 16 round, where teams, that ended the group phase between the 9th and 24th place in the table, will fight for one of the 8 spots to join the top 8 teams.

Four matches will take place tonight. Benfica and Real Madrid will repeat the last match in the previous phase. Portuguese beat Real Madrid 4-2 which gave them the opportunity to play this play off and sent the Merengues out of the top 8. Even though Real Madrid is going through a rough year, with head coach Xabi Alonso sacked in January, they remain at the top of La Liga, two points clear from Barça. Benfica is only third in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. Will Jose Mourinho, Benfica's head coach and former Real Madrid's too, be able to beat Real Madrid again?

Tonight, Stackers should also pay attention to Borussia Dortmund vs Atalanta. Italian side has lost one of their strikers, Lookman, who has been transferred to Atletico Madrid during the winter window. Both teams have only played each other once, back in 2017-2018 in The Europa League, with the Germans winning the matchup. Atalanta is currently sixth in the Serie A and Dortmund is second behind Bayern in the Bundesliga.

Two more matches will be played tonight. An all French matchup between PSG and Monaco, where the Parisiens are clear favorites, and Galatasaray vs Juventus, where a match in Türkiye is always a tough one.
