I wanted to bring this one up - really good source here -
Judge Napolitano (Judging Freedom)
I just listened to one of today's interviews - it seems like he has about 3 a day now!
It's with Col. Douglas Macgregor, titled Trump’s War: A Mess of His Own Making
And this is the part that burns me up. There's numerous clips of Trump talking about how anti-war he is, about "foolish stupid days of never-ending wars", "clean house of all of the warmongers".
All that talk, previously, and now he starts what could easily turn into WWIII. They must have some really horrific pictures and videos of what Trump was doing on Epstein island.
If you don't want to listen to the whole podcast, here's a summary of the transcript from AI:
Can't win the war:
Macgregor argues the campaign is fundamentally unwinnable. He says bombing alone has never brought any country to its knees since WWII, and there's no viable ground force option. Iran has an estimated 10,000+ missiles versus roughly 500 US interceptors in the theater, and resupply requires traveling all the way back to Diego Garcia or Europe. Iran's only objective is to survive; the US and Israel's objective is to conquer — a much harder task. He sees no strategy, no clear endstate, and no path to the "battleship Missouri surrender ceremony" that Trump apparently envisions.
Expansion of the war:
He describes several ways the conflict is already expanding or threatening to. Intelligence agencies are reportedly trying to organize Kurdish forces in northern Iraq and Syria to invade northwestern Iran — which he says would drag Turkey into the conflict, since Turkey views Kurdish statehood as an existential threat. Iranian missiles are already striking Israel and have destroyed a British air base in Cyprus. Attacks on Doha are mentioned. The Straits of Hormuz are effectively shut down, cutting off 60-70% of Japan and South Korea's petroleum supply.
WWIII risk:
This is the most alarming thread. Macgregor raises the nuclear question directly — he believes the greatest danger is Israel, overwhelmed by Iranian missiles, eventually threatening to use a nuclear weapon to end the conflict. He notes that Russia sees this as an opportunity to move decisively on Odessa and potentially Kyiv while US resources are diverted. China is providing intelligence and possibly technical support to Iran and has pilots on the ground. The global economic catastrophe from disrupted oil flows is pushing the world toward recession, which he believes will turn most nations against the US.
Other notable claims:
He predicts this could get so bad that people will be invoking the 25th Amendment within a month, and doubts Trump finishes the year as president. He accuses the administration of slow-rolling casualty figures (as the US has historically done), estimating over a thousand American dead already. He attributes the war entirely to Israeli interests and what he calls "Zionist billionaire" influence over US policy, and says US credibility with Russia and China is now destroyed, undermining any future negotiations.
I also think the biggest concern is what a desperate Israel might do. They've lost the global PR battle and know there's no getting back into public favor, so this is it for them.
Absolutely. When Macgregor was talking about the potential nuclear threat, of Israel bombing Iran, it felt pretty serious.

Also, I swear when I was looking at these same accounts x a few hours back, I was seeing multiple different reports, videos, etc, talking about the missile attack on Dubai coming from "the wrong direction" - i.e. Israel, instead of Iran.
So a potential false flag, "Iran attacking Dubai", but it's actually Israel attacking Dubai.
Anyway, they've disappeared. I'm assuming they were censored.
The one thing I"ll add to this is that I don't think Trump has a taste for prolonged conflicts. I think if he sees an off ramp to save face, he'll take it. THe question is, what will that off ramp be.
As much as I think Israel does indeed influence US politics, I still see Israel as the "little brother" in this case. If Trump decides to take an off ramp, I think israel will follow suit.
I hope you are right. But, damage has been done that will haunt us for decades.
President Donald Trump was anointed by Jesus… to cause Armageddon”(complaint says)
Separate thread worth adding to “WWIII / escalation risk”: troops say a commander framed the Iran war as prophecy.

The fog of war. I doubt Israel would use a nuke. If they did the world order is completely finished
Appreciate the summary. Some of the claims sound pretty serious, though I’d take them with a bit of caution since geopolitics is rarely that clear-cut. Still, discussions like this are useful because they show how quickly conflicts can spiral if there’s no clear end goal.
