I guess I tune out media so much I didn't realize some normie outlets were calling it the "bitcoin manifesto". Not only is that inaccurate but shows the mentality about bitcoin.
But really, I like bitcoin manifesto. Maybe that's what we should call it now. Lean into the FUD.

Apple should of just left it in.
As a company that is suppose to "Think Different", they sure seem like the average company that can't see the future hurtling towards.

Only makes sense after the news it caused, I guess they don't want people to think they endorse it as a company. Most only care about the price of Bitcoin that if the price slumped the stupids would probably run crying to Apple.

Sure the execs did this to make sure people didn't view this as any type of endorsement. Have to make sure they don't do anything that even remotely looks like biting the hand(s) that feed them.

Guess you'd expect that from a behemoth with global customer-base. Can't tread on any toes, lose market share, or risk potential legal gray areas.
Maybe advocacy for an empowered and equitable planet would more fitting to Linux?

Reminder that a computer with a closed source OS is not really your own these days.
The vendor can remove anything they want from it and force you to update.
