Nah people only do that when they see the ridiculous on chain Bitcoin tx fees without a guarantee of when or even if you'll be included in a block.

Using shitcoins is supporting scammers, who drive people to suicide. When the shitcoin markets crash to zero, a lot of people will not even consider leaving notes behind; they'll simply find a high place and jump.

Bro, it's not a perfect world, use an exchange arbiter like orangefren.com to send bitcoin but have them receive xmr at the cheapest exchange price. 

Also i think they still accept Bitcoin and maybe Lightning if you ask.
