It could have been something as simple as, he was tired, and didn’t want to make the situation into a big thing. Gut feeling?

Pizza seller is rich IF they kept the Bitcoin. If they bought ice cream then too bad for them.. expensive ice cream
Well they could have kept the bitcoin and still nor be rich because they could have sold it say a week after they received it therfore not getting the best value.
