I usually swap my coins through Fixedfloat to put some credits all over the web, I noticed that since last year most merchants aren't touching Lightning i think due to inbound liquidity problem that they still need to rely on third parties for this LSP, this is a major drawback on lightning network (the resistance from merchants).
FixedFloat is my go to, they never delayed one single swap, and thats more than 160 swaps, outstanding job.
Unfortunetly, FixedFloat has lightning network down, and a bunch others, and as I don't hold altcoins I have been seeking another one..
I tried BicoinVN, but they delayed one swap for hours, I told them to cancel the swap, because I had sorted the payment out another way, disregarding my request, they paid the swap and I had a loss (because I payed directly to the site, and the customer claims he didn't receive this payment).
Bitfinex worked, but by turning the Lightning switch on (to withdraw through LN) they froze my account for 5 days
What service do you recommend for swapping, while fixedfloat fixes their LN problem?
CashApp and River I guess. You're basically on-chain depositing and LN withdrawing.

You may be interested in atomic (trustless) swaps. FixedFloat and other exchanges are trusted and they can mishandle or delay your requests. With atomic swaps, the funds are certain to arrive at the destination or they will never leave your wallet.

Great information, but the exception of Boltz, all atomic swaps are down. And boltz swaps only BTCs on and offchain!

fixedfloat are lightning pioneers so for them to have LN service down for two weeks is a concern if true. thats all.
but i guess you could spin it or whatever :) and be like LN is so popular that it breaks. Idk
