I developed SN-, bitcoin- and lightning applets for the Tidbyt \ stacker news ~meta

I bought a Tidbyt, a pixel screen, and developed some bitcoin and lightning related applets. One of them is showing the last post from SN via RSS. The applet is projecting on a screen of 64 x 32 pixels powered by a ESP32 chip. All applets are open source and available from their official "app store".

For some applets you can configure some settings. For example, the Lightning Node will display by default the Lightning Network statistics, but when you configure your own node's pubkey, it will show only the stats of your node. The Bitcoin Ticker applet can be set to different fiat currencies or gold/silver and the period can be changed (24h up to 1y).

Applet request: Pixelated lightning animation when you get zapped via Nostr or StackerNews.

I’d bulk buy multiple Tidbyts instantly, with those available 🤠
