Philippines got the 3rd spot on the highest crypto adoption but mainly due to altcoins and games like axie infinity. I just became a non-altcoiner this year, a maxi some may say. But it's quite challenging to navigate talking to people, even those who are already in the crypto space.
Even the Bitcoin people known BitcoinIsland in Boracay is mostly an altcoin area and not really bitcoin main. The foreign national who is popularing the term, who owns Pouch.ph, is pushing all crypto and not bitcoin exclusive.
I'm still supporting his vision in part since he knows the difference of Bitcoin and he's doing that business model since that's the better way to gain adoption here.
