Personal projects.
To get the confidence and context to be able to create new experimental tools. Spent some time forking existing repos and tinkering, but nothing has stuck and felt flexible enough for a non-dev dev.
May still need a seasoned veteran to partner with and get it over the line, but way more fun building into the early hours and understanding most of what is under the hood.

I know how to code but I refrain from offending any actual developers by claiming to be one.
I build my own sites, apps, science experiments, and work in software as a technical PM. But the dev work is what excites me most.
