Voyager 1 is about 24 billion kilometers away from our planet.
The spacecraft is receiving and executing commands sent from Earth; however, the FDS is not communicating properly with one of the probe's subsystems, called the telemetry modulation unit (TMU). As a result, no scientific or engineering data is being sent back to Earth.
Have we lost the farthest node? No? Nothing to see here then :)

Crazy it was able to operate so long

Not sure why this needs an alarm emoji or capitalised letters for attention.

Will they be able to repair it?

It is important and worth remembering that the Voyager 1 probe did not die, it is having problems communicating with Earth, our communication with it takes about 22 hours to reach Voyager 1, which is exploring the outer regions of our solar system. more than 24 billion kilometers away from Earth. NASA scientists are working so that we can reestablish communication and return to scientific research as quickly as possible.
