Hi stackers, maybe you can help me about this, I am going to buy a gpixel terminal in order to install grapheneos and I have this question.
Are nostr browsers like spring, compatible with grapheneos? I mean, my idea is to never use android or apple again, I suppose that downloading sdk I can install them without problems but I'm certainly not sure.
Maybe it's a silly question but I'm a bit lost on how operating systems and apps work, if you can shed some light on this it would be great too, newbies like me would be super grateful, honestly I had to read several grapheneos tutorials to find out how to install it, but now that I know how to do it I can't wait another day to have a really private and secure smartphone, all good things come with effort.
Thanks for reading!
GrapheneOS is Android.

My idea is not to use any secondary account to forget about google, would it be possible in such a case?

Would also recommend to use Obtainium to allow you to download open-source apps from any code repo - https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium
No need for FDroid most of the time. Allows you to control app updates too.

+1 to Obtainium; open source need not the app store.

Awesome, thanks!

I've been using Obtainium for a few months now and there are things I like about it but is far from ready for most people.
In my use you have to update apps one at a time. Often you have to select which APK to use. It requires more attention.
Unless you want that level of control I don't think it is a big of a win over Fdroid.
