True, contamination is a bitch. But it's absolutely possible to get a good harvest with cheap low-tech supplies only: get a liquid culture syringe, boil some grain jars, inoculate them in a still air box made from a plastic tote box, and then mix the colonized grains with some peat or vermiculite and they will grow. I honestly had more issues with growing cannabis than mushrooms: my first bag got contaminated, but the next one gave a great harvest that lasted a loong time :)
Now thats a fun harvest. Still havent done shrooms though. What strains?
I started with the classics - Golden Teacher. Might grow other strains later just for fun

I saw a YouTube video about home shrooms growing, and as I understand there's no chance for fail. One wrong move and random mold will eat everything

no doubt.. bugs are 100 times worst than the needed care to avoid contamination
is that blue a UV filter? Remember ligth is no good for mushrooms..
