I started with the classics - Golden Teacher. Might grow other strains later just for fun

Neat. Some of my friends are into them and been doing multiple diffrent strains. Think penis envy and laughing buddha(?) are the favorites here. Besides that we got local mushrooms everywhere during certain weather.

I saw a YouTube video about home shrooms growing, and as I understand there's no chance for fail. One wrong move and random mold will eat everything

True, contamination is a bitch. But it's absolutely possible to get a good harvest with cheap low-tech supplies only: get a liquid culture syringe, boil some grain jars, inoculate them in a still air box made from a plastic tote box, and then mix the colonized grains with some peat or vermiculite and they will grow. I honestly had more issues with growing cannabis than mushrooms: my first bag got contaminated, but the next one gave a great harvest that lasted a loong time :)

Your jars on the photo show the truth. Great results

no doubt.. bugs are 100 times worst than the needed care to avoid contamination
