Article in Spanish.
Javier Milei has just passed a law called Artículo 209. Government institutions can no longer use the word "free" to promote any state service at municipal, province or state level.
Milei considers the word "free" a lie, because services are paid for with taxes, and citizens shouldn't be lied to.

I like it. A fresh, even revolutionary idea. A law that doesn't directly affect the citizens, but has an effect on their consciousness.

The term "collectivized" is more accurate than "free", which is a weasel word in this context.

Ha! So interesting to watch this.
Real talk time:
Both those clearly basing hope in Milei as a savior and those castigating him are missing the point. It is rare to even have someone spout what he is saying let alone gain any power. Whatever the outcome, whether he's the real deal or not it is interesting and we can learn some things from how this works out.
It is already a lesson for those that don't already know this that there are forces in the world that HATE the ideas he is espousing. The ideas of freedom, liberty, and Austrian Economics. He's a FAR RIGHT extremist! don't you know. He is exposing ignorance as well as contempt in people that claim to support the plebs. I love that aspect.
