As "perfection" is just a word in the dictionary, am curious to see what newbies and stackers have to say!

Wish there were a way to know which posts and comments are new since my last visit.

It's a valid point... a filter by date range could help! Or how do you see it working?
For now, to help you partially on that... after you visit a post, its title will be colored in gray #969696 instead of white #f0f0f0 in the main feed list.
For the comment, after you visited a post and someone write in a thread you visited, a little blue icon will appear to alert you about new comment(s) under that thread. If you want to get notified, you need to subscribe to that specific post or that specific stacker (for any new comments or posts).

Some thoughts on what could be cool:
  • one could 'follow' or 'subscribe' to particular posts of interest and some mechanism could be available to see a list of new comment threads for that post.
  • posts could have some useful properties, similar to how email clients manage received messages:
    • seen, read/unread, save/bookmark/star, etc
    • there could be check boxes to filter out posts based on said properties
These are just some ideas.
The current way to navigate, filter and explore the content of territories is not there yet. I don't have a solution in mind, but at the moment it just feels a bit weird.

Yes agree! I think no one was expecting this implosion of territories! The issue has been reported and hopefully will be take care really soon!

To extend on what Nuttall said below, I think it would be cool if we were able to create/submit different themes to customize the colors/display of the site...even if it were something super simple such as being able to customize the colors of the various main components (as a developer I can see how this would be pretty simple to integrate) would be nice. It's minor, but, I think it would be a welcome feature.
I would also like to see an optional alternative version of viewing the "front page", so to speak. Something that was perhaps more inclusive of using images sourced from metadata on the URLs submitted (if there's an underlying URL of something linked to from the post). Perhaps I'll have to whip something up in Figma to show you what I mean.

Nice one! I agree, customization always make user feel more comfortable to update the setting as needed. A color picker and personalization will be an enjoyable touch to add. Maybe something like the color options offered on LNbits?
There's also this proposal to add a sort of featured image on posts that contains one or, as you said, if is a post-type:link that featured image could be the featured image of the liked page itself.

I like the way it is and I'm new. I prefer dark mode but when I'm working outside all my other dark mode stuff is difficult to read or see, but Stacker gray, black, blue and yellow dark mode works well!
If recommend KISS - Keep it simple stupid.
It's a tiny learning curve but an old guy, 53, like me can easily grasp this.
The three dots is good. The LN zap is good. The preview is good as a switch so that the page doesn't use rendering unless needed.
For legacy phones and computers in other places this should enhance adoption.
Hopefully this helps.
Maybe a plug in that has CSS locally or modules that can be grabbed.

This's a really great feedback! @SN team will be happy to read this, I believe! And I agree with your KISS approach. Find or create or reach simplicity that works, it's a really damn hard work.
It will never reach perfection, but SN it's going really near to it

If it works, is perfect!
If it works morebetterest then there is that, too.
