I have no idea why it's down - the best hypothesis is that it's a UK CDN node that's down and that this is the configured error message. Weird error message though... I'm hoping by posting in a couple of places someone can help figure out what's up.

Its not an error message. Craig Wright tried to copyright the whitepaper in the UK and he won by default because no one came to court to defend it.

If memory serves... @cobrabitcoin owns the Bitcoin.org domain. Amongst others, he hosts the Bitcoin whitepaper there. CSW claims copyright on the whitepaper (since 2019 I think, completely fake of course) and sued everyone hosting it without his "permission". Since Cobra wishes to remain anonymous he couldn't show up in court and therefore lost the case by default. UK court system sucks in many ways...
