Shout out to @gnilma for his daily post of the best NBA play of the day. What a cool addition to the Stacker Sports territory.
Speaking of NBA there were some really good matchups last night but not many close games. I watched a bit of the Bucks vs Nuggets, TWolves vs Clippers and of course watched the Raptors get decimated by the lowly Spurs. Wemby had a triple double of points, rebounds and blocks. This had me wondering if there ever was a quadruple double in the NBA, and I can report that there have been 4, the last one occurring 30 years ago with David Robinson achieving the feat. My money would be on Wemby to get it done at some point. Maybe more than once. What are your thoughts? Betting on a Wemby Quad Double?
Now that we have completed all our NFL contests for the year. I am looking for ideas for contests to run, so if anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears. I will be rolling out a Fight Night contest tomorrow that encompasses both the UFC event and the boxing matching coming up this weekend.
Check out my post from yesterday afternoon regarding odds for next year's Super Bowl. #422873
Shill me who you would pick to win it all and shill me an underdog you like.
Sats for all, GR
@Undisciplined are you laying some sats on these big cricket matches on freebitcoin. Haha. It's going to be a long offseason.
reply
No, because I don't understand what the sports books have for those matches. I think they only give the overall odds of winning the tournaments. It is pretty bleak, huh?
reply
I dropped a 100 sats on each match for fun.
reply
With the way Wemby is playing, I think he will get a quad double sooner or later.
reply
Might have had a shot at it yesterday if they kept him in the game and the Spurs really pushed for it. He had 5 assists.
reply
Now that you mention it, I just remember he's still playing on a minutes restriction, while putting up these monstrous numbers as a rookie. Just give him ROTY already!
reply
Counting my man Chet out already?
reply
Chet had been playing great, but Wemby is just on another level. Wemby is having better stats in almost every column while playing less minutes and playing on a losing team.
At this point I think either Wemby has to really drop off a cliff for the remaining games or Chet has to step up his game by a lot for Chet to win ROTY.
reply
I would agree Wemby is front runner but lot of time for Chet to close the gap. With the Raptors having a rebuilding year I am adopting OKC for the rest of the season.
