Hey Stacker News! We've made big improvements to Shopstr this week and I'm here to share them

Here's a Loom DEMO of the improvements we made to Shopstr in the last week and we're excited to say, its quite a bit.

Feature Adds (Metrics, Improved DMs, Listing Sharing, UI improvements):

  • Metrics tracking for Unique Daily Active Users, Invoices Generated, Sales (sats), Number of Sales, and Inquiries sent.
  • Improved Direct Messages for real-time chats, unread message notifications, and distinction between read and unread messages.
  • Shareable links directly to listed products on Shopstr.
  • UI improvements including a Sign In Modal and responsive navigation bar.

Quality Of Life Improvements:

  • Enhanced chat functionality with arrow key navigation, ESC to exit chat, and ENTER for message submission.
  • Hit ENTER to submit for various modals on Shopstr.

Bugfixes:

  • Resolved issues with post listing and delete listing not updating in cache.
  • Fixed real-time event fetching for posts (on reload) and chats (hot updates).

Mobile view is pretty wonky, but I was able to make a purchase. Cool!
Would be nice to have a copy/clipboard button for the mint.

Is it possible to choose different shipping costs for shipping to different areas? Like national, international, etc.

I didn't see any notification of my purchase. Lightning payment was sent; I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a notification or if it is just assumed the seller will contact the buyer. (I bought the "pay 100 sats, get 200 sats back! Not a scam!", which I assume is just a test, but I did think I would get a notification of purchase).

Thanks for pointing that out @joda. The seller does get a private message from a npub generated by Shopstr with your cashu tokens as payment as well as who and what this purchase is for.
As of right now the buyer doesn't get any confirmation from Shopstr but you can perhaps send a DM to the seller for them to confirm receipt of the payment.
We are working on sending the buyer a notification as well and am still playing with some ideas on what the best way for buyers/sellers to be able to track their purchases is.
