Thanks for sharing. I know someone who has been living off the state (by choice) for a few decades. I told him this was coming but he acts like I'm just imagining things that will never happen.

The welfare state always has been about this. If the currency was a stable denominator there would be no need for welfare. Since there is a need for welfare due to currency inflation there needs to be currency inflation to maintain welfare.

All welfare is surveillance. If no one sees you then no one needs to feed you.

If you see each other you will feed each other. Unfortunately the state is invisible and is merely a device that unskilled grifters use to exercise violence and extract wealth; against and from skilled humans.

The central banking, Fiat system, created WWI, WWII and every war.

It's easy to fund wars with a wealth extraction method where price discovery occurs using tokens or sigils. The sigils are full of symbols to evoke authority, nationalism and wealth but they are created without any value other than implied or rudimentary psychological symbolic value.

Here is the famous Zimbabwe 100 Trillion Dollar bill. People make fun of it but it is the end result of all central banking. The government will change, the notes will change but the reality is the THERE IS EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT OF WEALTH IN THE WORLD THAT THERE ALWAYS HAS BEEN!
