Today one of my pal reached out to me with question: "How are you doing? Why did Bitcoin hit $70k today?"
https://m.stacker.news/19585
We rarely speak with him because we live in different places. He is pro dollars and gold man and always was against Bitcoin. When I got message from him I was shocked.
I wrote him a couple sentences, what happened lately, about ETFs, about upcoming halving, etc
Then he asked. Could it be coincidence that russia actively buys Bitcoin and it rises day by day?
At this point I stuck. I don't have any information about it and have no idea how they can do it.
What do you think about this question? Maybe I missed some interesting news? Drop your thoughts on the comments

Bitcoin's hit $70184 because there were people ready to pay that price while other people were ready to sell theirs at the same price. Whether it's Russia, China, me, you, or the freaking US ETF providers... who cares? Bitcoin doesn't, and neither should we. :-)

Well, I'm waiting for a buy order somebody took from me an hour ago on Robosats to finish. That person was ready to release a few thousand sats to me in exchange for a few of my euros.
They might need those euros to buy some dinner, or to pay for gas, or they are happy to get more fiat than they changed those sats for in the past (they are realizing their "gains"), or maybe they speculate and they're hopping to exchange them back later for some more sats than they are giving me now.
The fact is that there was someone ready to do that, bellow the ATH price, and that I was ready to stack a few more sats as well.
Oh, they just released those sats while I was typing this and Robosats just paid my invoice. A few more sats stacked. :-)
